Teacher Biographies

Brenda Lewis
Brenda is a special friend of Lemon Street Studio.  She has been our quilting buddy for years and she and her husband Ed are close friends of ours.   She has been quilting for over 10  years.  She taught Home Economics for 12 years.  She likes all kind of traditional quilting but especially enjoys machine applique'.  Her kind spirit and helpful attitude make learning from her a joy.

Mary Jane Amato
Mary Jane lives in St. Augustine.  She graduated from UCLA with a degree in clothing, textiles, and fashion design.  She has been a teacher, store owner, professional designer and dressmaker for over 35 years. She has taught all levels of sewing and quilting - basic  through advanced.  All her students are encouraged to challenge themselves while at the same time having fun in class.
